Academic Titles, Certificates

Successful graduates of the entire programme are awarded the academic degree:

Master of Advanced Studies ETH in Applied Technology (MAS ETH AT)

The MAS AT includes several certificate programmes that may be completed as stand-alone courses of study without completing the entire MAS. Successful graduates of these individual programmes are awarded the following certificates:

Certificate of Advanced Studies ETH in Applied Information Technology (CAS ETH AIT)
Certificate of Advanced Studies ETH in Applied Manufacturing Technology (CAS ETH AMT)
Certificate of Advanced Studies ETH in Applied Technology in Energy (CAS ETH ATE)
Certificate of Advanced Studies ETH in Applied Technology: R&D and Innovation (CAS ETH ATR&D)

Duration

The MAS AT is a part-time 24-month study programme. A total of 66 ECTS credit points must be acquired in order to obtain the MAS degree.

The individual CAS are part-time 14 week study programmes. A total of 10 or 12 ECTS credit points must be acquired in order to obtain the CAS certificate.

Language of Instruction

English is the official language of instruction and examination for the MAS and CAS programmes. Courses, seminars and communication with academic advisors all are conducted in English.
